I was my primary caregiver for my father and stressed to no end. Instead of getting help from my family, they added more stress by complaining, arguing and going against every decision that I needed to make. Coach B helped me and my family see the big picture, “Our dad”. Once I switched from individual to family sessions with Coach B, everyone ultimately became more involved with helping out. We have a long road ahead of us but things are much better with Coach B in the mix.

Betty helped me realize the many reasons that I could not care for my sister at her home and why a facility would be my best option. Initially, I resented this idea because my culture frowns upon it. But becoming desperate for a resolution and accepting that my culture was not my sister’s caregiver, I made the best decisions for where we were at that time. I am still working
with Coach Betty.
